The division is responsible for and operates two of the Transatlantic Group’s container-based European routes.

This basically means scheduled traffic between the Mälardalen/Stockholm area and the UK and Germany, respectively.

The line that operates the UK traffic is named TransPal Line. The line serves Swedish harbors in Central and South Sweden, harbors in Goole, UK and Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In the UK, agencies and forwarding operations distribute import cargo to final consignees in the UK, either through the warehouse hotel in Goole or directly from the vessels, as an integrated part of the cargo-forwarding service. The line also has its own stevedoring and terminal operations in Goole. A large number of various types of load carriers are used within the line.

TransPal Line is served by three proprietary, modern container vessels with high ice classification and inbuilt dehumidifier for transporting moisture-sensitive steel products.

Transfeeder South is the name of the line that operates between Swedish ports in Central Sweden and Hamburg and Bremerhaven. Many of the large ocean shipping companies are customers for that line.

With feeder traffic as base, continuous through-freight transactions are conducted in a number of overseas destinations. A large number of project cargo services are also executed.

Transfeeder South is served by two modern, leased container vessels with high ice classification.

Finally, the division also includes clearing, storage and forwarding operations.

The subsidiary, Percy Tham i Oxelösund AB, is a successful clearing company with a large market share in the important steel and container harbor in Oxelösund.
