TransAtlantic

A new course for TransAtlantic

In order to ensure conditions for the group to be able to focus and to expand in the future, within the company's respective business areas, Industrial Shipping and Offshore/Icebreaking - now operating as Viking Supply Ships - the Board had decided to prepare for a spin-off of the company. Major parts of the operations within Viking Supply Ships has been relocated to Denmark and a head office for the operations is established in Copenhagen.

Within the Industrial Shipping business area there is an ongoing reorganization with focus on the integration of the acquired shipping- and logistic company Österströms. The goal is to improve and make the service for our customers more efficient. The business includes five divisions; Bulk, Container, RoRo Baltic, Short Sea Bulk and Integrated Logistics.

By renewed strength TransAtlantic will strive to become a leading actor within the segments we operate in.
